Sequential courses of study are provided for Years 7-10 in each of the national curriculum areas using a mix of core and elective units. With a large Year 11 and 12 student population, the school offers a broad range of VCE units. An enrichment program has been developed for talented students at levels 7-11. Learning support is also implemented to address the particular needs of those students who are identified as requiring extra assistance.

Students are encouraged to participate in Performing Arts, together with local, state and national competitions. The aim is to provide students with experience in areas which they enjoy and in which they can excel. CSC also performs strongly in sporting competitions at local, regional and state levels. Sport gives all students an opportunity to experience competition, team bonding and success. The pursuit of excellence is encouraged in all co-curricular activities.
